About my Painted Sneakers
All shoes sold in this line are purchased brand new from shoe stores or directly from the brand. I inspect each pair of shoes I purchase to paint to ensure that there are no visible or functional defects in the original craftsmanship of the shoe.
The shoes are then primed (if leather) and taped off to protect the soles and sock of the shoes during the painting process. The tape must be applied precisely or the seal will fail so the tape process is actually one of the most important parts of the painting process. Once the shoes are primed and ready to go, I (usually) freestyle paint the shoes, allowing the paint to dry between applications. Each shoe has about 3-5 layer applications of each color. Layers are applied thin to prevent cracking and to ensure a more durable finish. Once the paint is dry, the shoes are sealed and ready to go to their new home.
These slides come wrapped in tissue and packaged in a cardboard box. This set will be delivered via UPS or USPS. US orders only can be made through my site at this time.
