BIO (Short)

Acacia Carr is an emerging artist who combines music and animations into unique dreamscapes. Both her art and music are influenced by Science Fiction, rave culture, Hip Hop, and nature. She combines a broad range of vocal styles with dancey beats and spaced out sound effects to create a tapestry of sonic bliss designed to spread harmony throughout the Universe.
The result is a clever fusion of retro futuristic spoken word theater and catchy synthesizer based bliss.

With a deep background in tech and a passion for graphic art and design, Acacia’s work is always deeper than what meets the eye. In addition to her work as a Singer/Songwriter and Music Producer, she is a Full Stack Web Developer, Multimedia Artist, and Brand Identity Designer with 20 years of experience running her own one woman boutique creative Web studio. After working with Clients around the world in a wide variety of industries for over a decade, Acacia began focusing on working with creatives themselves including Fine Artists, Photographers, and Musicians. She now offers a range of creative services through her website webprintwow.com.

In 2021, Acacia started the Mythic Rhythmic Blog, a monthly online publication which features independent electronic Musicians from around the world. Mythic Rhythmic celebrates its 12th Issue as a digital publication in November of 2022 and has featured over 50 artists since it was launched.

Her work through the Blog has allowed her to get to know a lot of indie Musicians who have helped to form a supportive community of fellow artists with which she shares her work on Instagram through her @acaciacarr account. Collaborations include work with Anna Awe from California and Purple Tokyo from Chicago. She has 2 EPs scheduled for release on December 31st of 2022. More information will be announced in Mid-November, 2022.
