An Intro to WordPress

If you missed my book launch party and tech talk at Meow Wolf in March, please join me for this talk at Meow Wolf in June! We’ll explore best practices for WordPress so you can get the most out of your next–or your first–WordPress website.

Discover which major international websites use WordPress, and join the self-publishing revolution!

We will focus on:
– Choosing a theme
– WordPress site security
– Admin Dashboard tour
– Working with the Media Library
– Working with Plugins
– Creating Posts
– Creating Pages
– Using Featured Images
– Gutenberg, Classic Editor, and Visual Builders
– Keeping your site up to date

This is a slideshow presentation followed by a Q and A. No coding, computer or WordPress knowledge is required. This talk is designed for anyone who is interested in learning about creating or maintaining a WordPress website as well as for entry-level web developers and beyond.

This event is limited to 45 tickets so be sure to get yours before they sell out. A portion of the proceeds go to help support community programs at the David Loughridge Learning Center located just inside Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Tickets are available through Meow Wolf.
